政治経済学会
「早稲田政治学会」から「政治経済学会」へ
2009年3月6日（金）の総会において、「早稲田政治学会」の名称を変更し、「政治経済学会」とすることが提案され、了承されました。これまで早稲田大学大学院政治学研究科の在学生と出身者および教員を中心としてきた会員構成や企画内容を抜本的に見直し、早稲田大学政治経済学術院において進んでいる政治学研究科と経済学研究科の教育・研究における連携、そこでの政治学と経済学の融合、政治経済学・国際政治経済学の進展を背景に、政治学、経済学、政治経済学の研究交流の場を、研究科や大学の枠を超えて提供できるよう体制を変革してまいります。
At the general meeting on 6 March 2009 (Fri), a proposal was approved to change the association's name from the Waseda Association of Political Science to the Japan Association of Political Economy. Radical changes were made about how members were organized and content planning, which until now had been largely centered around undergraduates and graduates of the Graduate School of Political Science at Waseda University, and staff members. The education and research cooperation, lead by the Waseda Institute of Political Science, between the Graduate School of Political Science and the Graduate School of Political Economy will strengthen the connection between graduates and the university by providing a system that promotes research exchanges between political science, economics, and political economy by using the political economy and international political economy's progress as a backdrop, and fusing together political science and political economy.
